Demand for our services, however, has inevitably led to expansion and taken our consultants further North with a main office in Surrey & regional office in Bedfordshire to cover London and the Home Counties areas. Our growing number of clients include Charles Wells, Countrywide Estate Agents, M W Kellogg and Hobbs Clothing, Interserve FM, Graham FM, Croydon Council, NHS and ICBC - Standard Bank.

We, as contractors, prefer to work directly for clients or with professional consultants. Under normal circumstances we do not operate as a sub contractor, but only in exceptional cases where we have a personal relationship.

We are very used to working in occupied buildings, out of normal hours and often under strict security conditions depending on our clients' wishes also complying with stringent health and safety requirements.

Our company has Local Health Authority and Local Council approval and we only use fully qualified staff to deliver our services.

A-Line Southern are ISO 9001:2000 certified and hold qualification certificates from Constructionline, National Britannia and the Chartered Building Company - certifying us as having reached the required technical, managerial and financial standards as laid down by the Construction Directorate of the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions.

We have demonstrated the required level of health and safety to comply with the National Britannia Safe Contractor scheme.


I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for the hard work which has gone into fitting out and populating the Athene building. The client project has expressed in no uncertain terms their thanks for the leadership and commitment displayed by individuals and teams associated with the scheme. You will be fully aware of the pressure involved in the merger of the Southern and Central DMC’s which had an affect on several other users within the Poultry and Scottish Life House complex.

Our instruction to proceed with this move was received approximately three weeks before Christmas, with completion required no later than the end of January. It was an extremely tight timescale that involved significant planning, co-operation and effort from all concerned.

I have received a note of thanks from Rod Duke, General Manager of the newly formed Southern Division, on the pragmatic and professional approach applied to this project in light of the logistical and timing difficulties it posed.

Your team, comprising of Eddy Dunne and Mark Meecham, played a significant part in its success and the quality of workmanship was readily acknowledged. They were receptive to late modifications and additions to the original specification that changed due to the fast track nature of the project.
